New opportunities as Bookbridge joins Woodland Media

For 15 years, Bookbridge Forwarders has been proud to serve you as a specialist division of Woodland International Transport, specialising in book services from North America, the Middle East and Asia.

We have focused heavily on building close relationships with our customers and tailoring our services to meet their needs. Bookbridge has been a very strong and established name within the industry, albeit with a narrow range of our own services.

We therefore made the decision, as of January this year, to merge Bookbridge into Woodland Media. The media division has already developed its own export services across the globe and handles over half of all magazines that leave the UK. Woodland Media has also established trade lanes with a number of high profile book publishers.

The merge gives us a vast range of services, including inbound and outbound, ocean and air, to offer globally. We also now have the additional benefit of our own offices in Heathrow and New York and will benefit from the management and resources of both divisions.

Whilst our Bookbridge customers get used to the Woodland Media name, we are not dropping the Bookbridge name completely just yet - and the same team are looking after your shipments, just as they always did. You will still retain the personal contacts that have served you well over the years but now with the added benefits outlined above.

These are exciting times ahead for the whole division and its customers. In publishing speak, we can cover any issues you choose to throw at us – and remember, our word is binding.
